What does a dash cam do?

Many dash cams include parking protection features, it depends on which camera you choose.

How long does it take to fit?

Will it drain my car battery?
Professionally installed dash cams are designed to manage power safely.
Many systems include low-voltage protection to help prevent excessive battery drain.
Some dash cams have thier own battery packs, too. It depends on which device you choose.
Will my insurance premium go down if I have a dash cam?
Some insurers may offer discounts for fitted dash cams, although this varies between providers. We recommend checking your policy details or giving your provider a call.
Even where discounts are not offered, dash cam footage can still help protect you against disputed claims and fraudulent accidents.
What happens if the memory card is full?
Most dash cams use loop recording.
This means the oldest footage is automatically overwritten once the storage becomes full, so the camera continues recording without manual intervention.
Some devices offer G-Sensor activation: A G-Sensor detects sudden movement, impacts, braking, or acceleration.
When triggered, the dash cam automatically protects that footage from being overwritten.
Is professional installation worth it?

What happens if I sell the vehicle?
You can either sell the vehicle with the additional security, or you can have one of our engineers de-install from your old vehicle and re-install it onto your shiny new one for a small fee.
