I have an electric vehicle, can I still have a tracker fitted?
It's absolutely possible, but it's not without its caveats. It depends on the make, model and age of the vehicle. Please call us and our security experts will advise you on which products are compatible with your specfic vehicle and give you all the information you need to make an informed choice.
Where exactly will it be hidden?
Installers never reveal the exact spot beforehand to maintain security.
If we disclosed publicly where we install them, thieves would be the first to know and pull them out!
How long does it take to fit?
A standard install can be done in under two hours or less.
Do I need to bring my car to you?
No! We'll come to you!
We can fit the device on your driveway, workplace, inlaw's house or at your Nan's while you have your dinner! Whatever the weather, we work around you for smooth hassle free installs.
Will my insurance premium go down?
Usually yes! You must provide the installation certificate to your insurer and this usually triggers a discount, but please check with your provider directly.
Can't I just buy a cheap tracker online and hide it in the car?
You certainly could... However your insurance company will most likely reject this, Insurance companies only accept Thatcham-approved devices connected to a 24/7 monitoring centre, wired into the car.
The "hide-it-yourself" devices are often easily found by thieves and tossed out of the car!
Is the subscription included in the purchase price?
No, the device and installation are one fee.
The monitoring service requires a separate monthly or annual subscription. There are plenty of options for you to buy a years subscription up-front.
Even with subscription fees, most customers still save money on their insurance premiums, and for high value vehicles, many insurance proves won't cover the vehicle unless a tracker is fitted anyway.
What happens if I sell the vehicle?
You can either sell the vehicle with the additional security, or you can have one of our engineers de-install from your old vehicle and re-install it onto your shiny new one for a small fee.
